Im about to build a new system built around the Shuttle SK21G, theres a 2800+ Sempron going in there, along with a 9800 Pro. Ive also got 1Gb (PC3200) Geil value duel channel RAM that I want to use in it as well, but ive been told they wont be compatible as the S754 systems are single channel only or something? Never built a S754 system before so I dont have a clue.

Also, the SK21G has on board graphics, however I would like to use the 9800 Pro instead. Does the Shuttle automatically detect when an outside graphics card is in use or does it need to be turned off in the BIOS or something?

Many thanks. :)

it'll be fine. your ram is a matched pair that will run in dual channel, but theres nothing sayin you can't run them both in single channel :)

they will just run as a gig in single channel, overclocking may become harder as its putting more strain on the mem controller though.

i'm currently usin a 3400+ clawhammer (754) with 2gb of g.skill in single channel

the shuttle should auto detect the agp card but if not, ther will be an option in the bios for it
