This is a weird one..

I built my sn25p with an x2 3800, 2gb ocz and an x1900xt about a month ago.. ran it on air for a few weeks and it worked ok but got a bit toasty. I had always planned to watercool it and I did and it worked even better allowing and overclock on the cpu but the gfx stayed stock.

Then I took it apart to reseat the cpu block put it all back together and it didn't boot.

Thought it was the cpu so tried another and nothing.. figured it was the gfx then so I got an x1300 and it worked so I assumed I was right thinking gfx.

Got another x1900xt today and its still doing the same thing, no boot. If I DISCONNECT the power to the x1900xt the machine boots with no video.. if I CONNECT the power it just doesn't boot

I've hooked up a slave psu to power just the gfx and still nothing if there is power to the card??

In and amongst all this its also taken to having the fans spinning when there is power to the machine but it isn't switched on????

Is it safe to assume the shuttle is knackered?

not necessarily, could just be that its being funny with the psu.

try connecting up another psu to the mobo, graphics etc (somethin from an atx maybe) and just see if it boots then

:(

can't use another psu to power up the mobo because its a shuttle connection (ie not atx)
