Shuttle XPC SP35P2 - how loud?

I'm thinking about buying one of these shuttles, but wondering how loud they are?

I've read they are quite loud with a quad core, but what about with a dual core? I'm really after a silent pc.

I wont be playing games on it so would only be going for one of the ati 3450 silent/silence cards.

If your looking for for a comp which makes no noise what so ever the shuttle isn't for you.

Erm, with a silent gfx card they are pretty damn quiet in my opinion!

If you want total silence your are going to have to sacrifice power (a lot) or size and complexity (watercooling+big case).

I'm typing from a dual core Shuttle with a silent card and it's fantastically quiet compared to 'normal' pcs.

dont forget that everyone has a different idea of quiet

personally i find shuttles pretty quiet depending on fan speed and as said above, also dependingon what kind of gfx you have in it
