Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Basically following from this thread.

This week, my leg hadn't got any better and the bruising had stretched from my hamstring down to my ankle, I was unable to put any real weight on it and struggle stretching out. I got a doctors appointment Tuesday morning to which he wasn't much help but said I had probably torn my calf muscle. He gave me some anti-inflammatory and sent me on my way...
I had the week off work due to the above reasons.

Today my leg still is not any better, I'm not one to have time off work un necessarily but I have been pretty much unable to do anything other than lie on my bed with my leg resting so I'm not really up for work. To have any more time off work, I need a doctors note but they need to assess my leg again to see if I'm liable for a note. Bad bit is there no free doc appointments on Monday, so what are my options? And am I likely to be turned down a note?

Thanks for any help guys.

maybe you could go down primary care or something? accidents and injuries unit or something? just don't push in front of a terminal case or anything.

Hospital couldn't do anything and I'm too far away from a clinic, not able to drive at the moment neither.

I'm just worried about having the time off work then the doctors not giving me a note due to not believing me or something?!

Has anyone been turned down a docs note before?
