Sid Meier's pirates on Windows 10

I'm sure I had this working on my win 10 pc earlier this year but it definitely is not working now and keeps asking me to insert disk 2?

I am trying to play from a CD ROM that I bought years ago for Windows XP.

If anyone knows how to get this working that would be great.

no idea on the disk version but it is on gog https://www.gog.com/game/sid_meiers_pirates as a last resort
