Sidewinder x4 Macro keys?

Just playing Dragon Age was planning on using some of my Macro keys to do some shortcuts and abilities but the game doesn't seem to be recognising me pressing the button anyone know how to do this? :confused:

Yes, The keys work on windows just not in game.

'Microsoft IntelliType Pro 8.0'. Are these the correct drivers to have installed for this keyboard?

The bind key at the top left and the other one next to it seem to work and make noises yet when i'm trying to macro and assign uses to these keys it doesn't do anything.

Help!

I still have the sidewinder x6 keyboard in a cupboard somewhere that i used before I replaced it with teh awesome BlackWidow and the macro keys worked perfectly for me in any game I tried them with.

I have no idea why it isn't working for you though, the only thing I can suggest is to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

Oh and is the profile light on the number 1 because if it's set to 2 or 3 then the binding you have set won't work (assuming you have bound keys to the 1st profile).

Yeah it's on 1. I'll have another mess about to try and get it working, if not then oh well. Bought this for the back light anyway.

Found out how to do it.

1. Press the record key the one on the right hand side of the one that changes banks.

2. Press the Macro key you want to assign something to.

3. Type/Press what ever you want that key to do.

4. Press the record key again to stop.

5. The Macro key should work as you assigned it to.
