since when did anyone read mails sent to [email protected] anyway? i've never had a reply to any queries i've sent to that address.

'twas a typo! but seriously, in my experience you don't stand a chance of getting an answer unless you get a staff members personal email address.

Just email me instead, that email probably goes to Slackworth and the name says it all. :p

Only if its forum stuff, got the shop contact emails and numbers for anything else.

My msn is always open aswell, as is my Xfire and xbox LIVE tag. :)
 
emails sent to forums@ go to one of the admins and we try to answer them within a reasonable time period.
However we can/do get a lot of spam and as such can miss emails, or be too busy to answer them immediately (I try for 24 hours, but sometimes it falls to 48+ hours).

Sending an email CC'd to half the mod/admin team tends to make it less likely to get spotted (for one thing some email services tend to mark it as spam;))
 
wasn't there controversy a while ago when basmics sig image had more than 4 lines of text in it, and you mods forced him to change it to four, even though the rules only state this:
the FAQ said:
A signature may contain one or more images but they must fit within a box with maximum dimensions of 400 x 75 pixels (width x height) and with a maximum (combined) file size of 20k. Images containing mostly very large words or animated .gifs will not be permitted. You may also add 1 consecutive lines of normal or smaller text directly above or underneath the image with no spaces inbetween image and text. If no images are used then up to 4 consecutive lines of normal or smaller text is permitted.

the Key here being "if no image is used"

isn't that a little hypocritical seeing as this sig that you give people with incorrect sigs has 5 lines of text?

surely thats because 5 lines of forum text are bigger that the designated maximum banner size? or do you mean 5, size 1 lines?

Nope, it's because some people decided to use images to cram their signatures full of text that would otherwise not fit. To demonstrate that point...
