sig test

You can't have an animated sig mate :(

FAQ said:
A signature may contain one or more images but they must fit within a box with maximum dimensions of 400 x 75 pixels (width x height) and with a maximum (combined) file size of 20k. Images containing mostly very large words or animated .gifs will not be permitted.

Still illegal dude. It can't be any bigger than 400x75.
so i see, i will have to redo it even though technicaly it isnt over as mine is 300x100, and if i read the rules rite, 400x75, the overal space is less than the stadard one anyhow i will abide by the rules and change it

If you want to repost the old one I can shrink it to comply with the rules. :)
lol thx but no thx, lol i can shrink it too, but if you shrink it anymore will end up looking silly, i will redo it in adobe, so the images dont distort ect as the second one was distorted, even though ive never been on a forum with such tite sig rules, considering users are allowed to post large photos, sigs dont use much bw at all, photos on the othe rhand use a lot more......

I think it's a matter of general tidiness. Personally i have a rough time browsing XS because some members find it necessary to post a half dozen 640x480 images in each their sig. Tidiness makes it easier to browse. :)

I administrate a different forum and the sigs and avatars got out of hand there too. We cut it down to 100 x 500 for sigs and 150 x 150 for avatars.

As BTI has put it, they are here for neatness. Enough space to create your own identity, without the need for 3 pages of pictures and movies, some forums have 10x more signature per page than post.

Quite easy to abide by, and it has a very tidy feel to the forums with most peoples signatures being the same size.

indeed.

this one forum that i used to browse, you had to use page down just to get past the signatures...
