C+C Welcome :)

Great sharpness throughout as well - is this from the lens or with photoshop?

Mostly the lens, though you do need unsharp mask for that little bit extra ;)

Another thing. These were all shot handheld, at around f7. If I spent the time and put it on a tripod (which I usually do with my kit lens) and upped it to f11 it would probably been sharper. The only minus point that I have read about is poor quality control. Some sigmas are great some not so. I have a few shots that are slightly soft in the bottom left, though that could just be down to the distance and aperature. I haven't really tried it fully stopped down to compare images.

I am happy with it ;)

Nice photos as usual Strax.

Thanks Colin :) :)

How often you go around the lochs around west scotland?

I try to get away at least once every 10 days (due to shift pattern). In the last couple of weeks I have been to Inverary (butterbridge & Rest & be thankful) and the Carrick Forest (Loch Riecawr & Loch Bradan).

The weather forecast for the next few days isn't looking too good at the mo, so not too sure about this week. If it does improve though, I will probably be going round about Oban way :)
