Does anyone have this lens, or ever used one?

I do a lot of low light photography, and while I love the Canon 50mm F/1.4, on a 1.6 crop, it quite often isn't wide enough for me.

No experience with the Sigma 30 1.4. I went a little wider and got the Sigma 20mm 1.8. Apart from the huge filter size (82mm) I have no complaints about this lens and use it regularly at gigs and also for landscapes.

Had the sigma for almost a year before I sold it recently. It is very very good in good light conditions, but needs a little bit of help in low light conditions (but you should be using and ST-E2 anyway so no probs). Highly recomended. The only thing better is a canon 35 F1.4 USM. But that is 3 times the price.
