HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT MY SIGNAL STRENGTH IS FOR MY TELEVISION SIGNAL WITHOUT BUYING A METER OR GETTING AN AERIAL FITTER IN?

I cannot hear you , I have gone deaf

just gently pull the ant lead out 1/8 inch gap and you still have a picture then you have a good signal

Oops, didn't realise it was on, was typing under pressure.
GLAD YOU CAN HEAR ME THOUGH.

:p

If you're checking digital strength, I believe a lot of digiboxes and also tv's with integrated digital have some kind of strength indicator in the menus somewhere. My DVB TV card on my computer does, and the set top box downstairs does too...

How do you expect to reliably read the signal without a meter?

Why do you even need to take signal strength readings?
