Signature

It needs to be something you can repeat every time, mine isn't and I have all sorts of issues at times with banks particularly. Luckily delivery guys don't bother. I don't think a signature is used so often these days and doesn't really matter what it looks like as long as it can be repeated. Writing your name in your own style is fine.
Andi.

Most members start by including your Mothers maiden name , PIN and full name...

... no don't do that.. :D

People normally have their favourite quotes, or list items of their hobby.. PC, Camera, car etc.

An image is normally something more personal. I have no idea why I have mine.. It was in my santa sack one year.

He means a written signature, like how you sign your bank card/letters :p

For me, my surname is Thompson. I do an M and then from the right downstroke curve round to the left and strike through the M and finish with a squiggle.

It's absolutely pathetic when i see other peoples, but i used to work in a transactional role where i had to sign every invoice i entered on the system and so it went from being a bit ornate to whatever got done quickest!

EDIT - Here it is! I have no fear of anyone copying me as anyone could make that up!

I'm genuinely struggling with the fact that you're asking the internet how to write your own name.

Can I suggest you just do this.

Your signature is your mark, as long as it's consistent, there's nothing wrong with writing your name in joined up letters . It's what grown-ups do.

I have the handwriting of a mentally challenged 11 year old, my signature is consistent with that. Despite this its never caused me issues in my working life.

You're massively overthinking this.

so write my first name then letter of my last name and add a squiggle?

You don't need to add a squiggle, I guess some people do if they end on say a "y" or "g" et.. that allows them to underline the whole sig or something along those lines

I just use my first two initials + my surname as that is how my name has always appeared on cards - the initials and the first letter of my Surname are written fairly large and clear, the rest of my surname is a bit squiggle but is reasonably consistent when I write it out.

To be sure, forward me a blank cheque with you’s signature on it so I can see how it looks in an authentic setting. ;)
