signed up for xbox live trail ... now my halo 3 save game has disappeared...

Well I bought the 360 a couple of weeks ago and have played most of the way through halo 3.

Yesterday I thought I'd try the 30 days xbox live trial so signed up to that to play Forza 2 etc.

Now I've just loaded up Halo 3 again and my single player save game is gone.

Having searched the net, it seems this is a common problem if you play games offline before you sign up to live, the live profile overwrites your original profile.

If I go into the dashboard, the achievements etc are registered against my live profile but I cant load the game.

I'm ******* disgusted :mad:

Anyone know any workarounds?

Have you checked through the save games section on your Xbox? Maybe there are now 2, one taking priority over the other...

Just a guess.

But, as Kreeeee said, it's a short game, play it again :)
