Signing in "offline"

Hi,

Does anyone know if there's a way/plugin to allow you to sign in to MSN via GAIM/MSN messenger (preferably GAIM) and immediately appear offline (hidden)? You can sign in "offline" using MSN web messenger...

you can sign in offline with msn messenger already :S

msn 6.2 and up have had it, i know the latest msn off the site does cause im using it. and have signed in offline before

You sure 6.2 has it? Any way it's possible with GAIM? (I also use Aol IM web version)

i'm pretty sure 6.2 did, but not 100%

but if i had to give a version i was 100% on i'd say 7 and up

Ok I've done it via MSN Proxy (http://sourceforge.net/projects/msnproxy/) - I set GAIM to use the proxy, and bingo.

I'm using 7.5 and that can do it, not sure about the other versions or progs tho
