I’ve noticed over the past 4-7 days, that when I go to the Overclockers Forum site, it says, “You must sign in or register before posting.”
It used to display my user name straight away, whenever I visited the site.
Anyway, I complied, signed in, clicked the “keep me signed in” box, and began to peruse the site.
If I left the site, and checked emails, or visited other sites, then returned to Overclockers, I’d not be logged in, and I’d have to log in all over again.
Anyone know the reason for this?
Have I inadvertently done something wrong, and there’s a simple remedy?

have you cleared the cache / saved logins on your browser or have you got it set to do this everytime you exit your browser?

No problems here, using Firefox.

Until you sort it out the simplest solution would be to leave OcUK open in one tab and open other **** in new tabs.

Not sure that this would work, I’ve been on O/C, then left the site and let the iPad close down, on starting again I click on O/C in history, and when it comes up, the “you must sign in or register” message comes on the screen.
In the past my user name was displayed as soon as I went to O/C, plus I’d clicked, “keep me signed in.”

I don’t have anything set for when I exit the browser, but I’ll run your suggestion past my wife.
She is the brains of the outfit computer wise, you may as well have typed your reply in Serbo-Croat for all it meant to me.

Are you using some sort of cookie blocking/deleting plugin?

No, (that one I understood.)
