Signs 360 HDD is knackered

I've tried downloading the DLC again for Mass Effect 3 as the game kept crashing on startup. Yet they won't complete. The downloads get to 98%, 99% and then go back to 0%.

Does this mean my HDD is on its way to lala-land?

Yeah plenty of space. The downloads eventually completed after going 98%, 99%, 0%, 98% a few times but the game crashes on startup again. So there is either corruption on my HDD or some hardware fault. I've given up with it. Xbox live runs out next month so I'll just use my PS3 now.

I've just checked the Mass Effect 3 forums. It seems it's just started happening to other people and is therefore a problem with EAs servers. Well whaddaya know. Typical.

Microsoft have also posted a service alert for Xbox Live which says could affect game content. Sorry EA.

Mmmm does this include Fifa? Mine has just refused to load, and troubleshooted it by removing HD I assumed my drive was knackered

Yeah, it seems to be games which have DLC, I think.

Yeah, I moved the DLC to a USB stick too. Still froze the console.

Yeah xbox live is knacked... I can't play any of my games because all the saves are on the cloud. Also my GoD games take at least a minute to launch.

I hope MS can see why people don't trust them to run the Xbone the way they planned.

anything on cloud is dead, some games still work though. such as hawx2 (yay?) lol
