Silent cooling for a 2ghz dual core cpu

I have just bought two of these for office use:

My problem - thems stock hsf are incredibly loud! not good for getting the work done.

Basicly i'm looking to spend tops £15 each so £30 total for a cooling solution that is wisper silent! Fanless would be great but defo be good to be very very quiet.

Did you enable the fan options on the motherboard? Are there any fan options on your motherboard?

If there is then you can just enable it and the stocks fans should slow right down and becomes very quiet?

Check in the BIOS/Health Page?

yeah checked that its all on auto, the only other fan is the PSU, quite basic systems.

well these arre good. if you run the fan at full speed they can be noisy. but i run mine a 50% speed wich i set in bios on my overclocked e6700 and cant really hear it. you could prob run it even slower and wouldbe fine.

most 80mm fans can be noise your case have any in ?
