Silent cooling for AMDx2 4000+ please?

Have done a lot of searching and as usual there is too much choice. Can anyone recommend silent cooling equipment for the 4000+ please? Fan or otherwise.

I used to run a zalman reserator on a x2 4400 & it ran happy from 2.2 to 2.7.
You can put a pipe inside the reserator so the hotter coolant enters at the top of the tower really helps.
There are going be fans anyway from the PSU/GPU so why not go for normal watercooling & with a good mobo which supports auto fan increase under load.

Dont expect mega overclocking on passive water though

Just run it so the fan only spins up under load, dunno what that is for AMD BIOS.

Smart fan and/or cool and quiet might do the trick with your current setup.

The CPU is running at 61-63C. It's safety limit is 70C. So any suggestions would be very welcome if that seems too high.

on my x2 4200. My temps are approx 45 idle and 55 full load. You dont even have to use the provided fan, I'm not sure it makes much of a difference. Even so the fan is very quiet, even at full speed.

Yer that looks a bit high for AMD, my old x2 4400 @2.7 died at 60c.

Really confused now.

Core Temp software reports - Core 1 at 9C Core 2 at 22C

Meanwhile, motherboard supplied software Tiger One reports cpu at 60-65C

Any help please?
