Silent fan for INTEL Pentum D 'DUAL CORE' 64BIT 2.8Ghz

As the title suggests I was wondering if any of you kind folk out there could point me in the direction of a Silent fan or heatsink that would do the job for my INTEL Pentum D 'DUAL CORE' 64BIT 2.8Ghz (LGA-775 Design if that helps).

Im getting annoyed with the noise my machine makes so any help would be appreciated

Pentium D 820? Had a thermaltake big typhoon on mine while i had it, kept it silent and about 56C loaded at 3.4GHz in last years summer heat.

Do you need silent or just very quiet?

If it's silent you're after then the Thermalright HR-01 can be used in full passive mode or semi-passive mode with the optional fan duct.

So if your rear fan is silent/near silent then the CPU cooler adds no sound at all.
