Silent Fans

Can anyone recommend me a very quiet 80mm case fan ? also after a 939 cooler that is silent, its for a media PC.

dunno about the 80mm fan but the titan amanda is a silent one but for me it didn't perform that well, but that could just be me.

Whisper silent and 5 quid each.

Silent - noctua
Pressure (i.e. mounting on sink) - scythe
Airflow/noise ratio - sharkoon silent eagle

New Noctua fans (made prim for their Heatinks) do both Near Silent and Pressure, dont think they do 80mm as thats old school now, 92mm and 120mm only AFAIK.

By nature a 80mm fan will be loudish if it moved decent amount of air.

New noctua fans don't actually live up to the marketing from what I've read. Was only one artical though - so I'm not certain they're still poor at pressure.

I have posted 2-3 reviews showing they improve over their original fans.

I prefer a faster fan then conect to a controler or Mobo can control speeds by Temp.
