I'm after a quiet gaming case for ;
abit ip35 pro or gap35-dsr3
Q6660 0R E with plenty of room for large cpu cooler
8800 GTS 640 MB
was considering the nxzt hush but heat builds up under the graphics card and looks a little cramped inside .
The quiet ones also seem to come with a lack of fans and I would like to overclock at some point .
Not really interested in ones that look like blackpool illuminations .
Any recommendations please

Any ideas on budget?

Lian Li PC7+
Lian Li V1000+
Akasa Eclipse/Mirage

are all great cases.

Please note, it's not the case that makes a PC silent, it's the components and the fans that cool them. You might have to invest in better CPU/graphics card/NB heatsinks as well as better case fans to truly have a silent PC.

Yeah thanks I realize that but a lot come with sound proofing and quiet fans .I don't expect it to be silent but as quiet as possible my current pc can be really loud when gaming, more so when you pause the game

My budget is under £100 .

Will check out the ones you suggested ,cheers .

Akasa Eclipse 62 with Yate-Loon D12SL-12 fans all aroun. You should have enough left in your budget to get a pint or two to celebrate you newfound silence. :D

it should do, but dont take my world for it.

but note* that is possibly one of the worst looking cases OcUK do, plus im not sure on the cooling of it but it probably isnt the best and dont even count on it being silent.

To be honest, I'd want to replace the case fans that come with most cases anyway, or at least undervolt them to a much lower noise level.

As BillyTheImpaler says, Yate Loon D12SL fans are pretty much the best value silent fans.

The Earthwatts 500W is a very good PSU, easily capable of running the rig you're planning. Apparently it's a rebadged Seasonic, so should be quiet as well I imagine.

Why replace the fans on the 182 ?
In low and even at medium settings they are quiet and airflow is good.
I didn't find the scythe sflex or yate loons any better.
