Anyone hyped for this? I'm seriously considering buying it because i've never played Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 2 ****ed me up that bad that I stopped playing when I got into a Prison and heard moaning, no joke i've never been so scared in my life. Anyway it's on pre-order on zaavi for £19.99 if anyone is interested.

I'd like to see if they've done a good job on the re-mastering 1st I think.

Just watched this video and they've said that the voices are re-done in HD, not sure if that's a good or bad thing. :/


Edit: Wow they've included both, original and the re-mastered voices!

 
I was never convinced into buying these games but I feel like I should avoid them now because I'd find them scarier than I would fun the RE games are almost too much for me at points. Thoughts?

Silent Hill 2 is much, much scarier than any of he RE games. Silent Hill 2 is also a much, much better game than the best RE has to offer though.
 
I always thought Silent Hill 1 was by far the best as the overall plot seemed to advance. In the other games it became pretty self contained with no over all plot similar to a yearly horror film. The real questions like what happened to the town to make it that way and where the people had gone were never explored.
 
Shame that they don't include Silent Hill 1 in the pack, maybe it was just too difficult to bring it into HD. I remember playing it on import before it was released in the UK, had never heard of it and neither had anyone else I spoke to but it was and probably still is the scariest game I have played.

I shall certainly be getting this pack, even though I already have the 2nd one on PS2 and 3rd on PC, but this looks well worth the purchase :)

That's the appeal of it to me. It's about individual experiences in Silent Hill, explaining everything away could ruin the atmosphere.
I'll definitely be getting this, Silent Hill is number 1 in my favourite games list and a HD makeover will be great - well, as long as it is a HD makeover, unlike some "HD classics" I've been fooled into buying.
 
Silent Hill scared the heck out of me ever since that radio started playing up in cafe.

I cant doubt that this will be good and well worth the money but its not worth it for me.... it freaks me out so I wont play it lol
 
I'd love to get this, but I really don't like buying games I already own.

I have SH2, would number 3 make this worth getting? or is it nothing great...?
 
I think I will be buying this. I've never played through these games (or any silent hills). Not really sure why, maybe I was too scared when they were released. :p

Release date?
 
I loved Silent Hill 2 I was shocked I actually finished it. Will be picking this up, at £19.99 you can't go wrong.
