Silent hill psn store?

Can't be bothered updating my firmware to find this out, is Silent hill available on the PSN store?

I read some where that there going to add more PS one games to the store so fingers crossed.

Edit. It was on the store but only lasted 12 hours before sony got rid of it lol not sure why....

It was available on our PSN Store for a time before it was taken off shortly after.

Blame the fact that we live in the EU so too much licensing/publishing BS and other excuses.

The game is still available on the U.S PSN Store which would probably be the better version anyway. NTSC 60Hz vs PAL 50Hz crap.

As above, good news is that we will have the option of buying Japanese or U.S versions of PSOne games that were not able to be released in the EU territories sometime soon.

I wouldn't think that Hz would really matter on the PSP, but the higher res of PAL might...

It's on the U.S store if you desperately want it. My primary PSN ID is an American account and that's mainly because they have a better range of original Playstation games in my opinion.

With video games pal/ntsc doesn't matter, the emulator renders it at whatever resolution and frame rate it wants to. PCSX2 renders PS2 games at 1080p for example.

I've considered that, don't know if it's worth the effort though, do you need to use an American address?

SH is actually one of the more expensive PSX games, quite often going for >£10, which is more than the PSN price.

I assume that convenience is also an issue, i.e not having to wait. That and playing it on the PSP.

I imagine it was removed from the PSN Store because it potentially suffers from the same sound glitch issue that the disc-based version does. My disc version became unplayable on the PS3 after several hours due to that, so it's just gathering dust now.

Well as far as Sony are concerned buying second hand has the same effect as piracy.

Anyway I don't feel like paying £15 for a 15 year old game.

Firmware is 3.55, so I don't want to lose that for nothing. Sony really aren't providing any incentive to upgrade...
