silent hunter 4 ?

hi

getting silent hunter 4 , would like to know if its possible to play as a certain role in the sub such as driver,radio operator e.g, or do i have to take control of it all?

ok thanks i thought it would be good just to be in control of one thing to get used to it, i had a game once where i could be a gunner or pilot e.g of a ww2 bomber forgot the name ,so i did not have to do everything.
