Hi - Being an infrequent sailor I'm a bit lost on the GPU sea... I wonder if I can get a steer from anyone?

I am looking for a silent graphics card or pair of cards that will allow me to run three monitors for extended desktop space that will work on my system. It has to be a silent solution. At the moment I have:

• Windows 7 Pro 64bit
• Asrock P45 Turbo Twins MB: ( http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P45TurboTwins2000 ) with:
• 2 x PCI Express 2.0 x 16 slots with the Asrock Xfire/SLI switch card (though I've never used it for two cards)

• A passively cooled NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT PCI Express card with DVI and VGA outs
• An LG 17inch monitor with DVI + VGA D-Sub inputs (connected to the DVI)
• A Gigabyte 17inch monitor with only VGA D-Sub input (connected to the VGA)
• A Dell U2311H monitor on the way with DP / DVI / D-Sub inputs which will be the main monitor and I want a digital connection for of course

I can run the Dell and LG from the current card, but I'd like to keep the old Gigabyte on for extra space too, but it only has D-sub input so whatever card(s) I get it needs to cater for that.

I don't do gaming, but I do a lot of Photoshop and multi-tasking work, watch a few movies and would like to get more into video editing too. So the card(s) won't need to be absolute top spec, but reasonable performance. Silence is the main priority.

Thanks for reading, any suggestions appreciated!
