I'm after some silent components:

Quiet case (like the look of this new Lian Li )
500W to 600W PSU
CPU cooler (for Intel C2D E6700)
Case fans

This is for a music production PC. Any tips please!

The Noctua NF-S12 800RPM 120mm Silent Case Fan - 3 Pin
are extremely good. Super quite.

I assume it's a LGA775 socket?
I'm very pleased with the Akasa AK-965 CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775)
It's not as quite as the noctua fans but you can easily fit a different 92mm fan to it. Huge area so you only need a low fan speed.

Thats what I've done ith my system and it's super quiet apart from my really noise psu. But I've been recommended the Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK) in another thread.

Case: Any Lian Li with 120mm fans :)

I have an ACF7Pro and while it's quieter than a stock intel HSF I wouldn't call it silent. :)

maybe look at the new Enermax Modu 82+ 525W
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-038-EN&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1086

according to silentpcreview site the Enermax Modu 82+ 625W they reviewed was the quietest psu with a fan.

Also the warranty for the Corsair currently needs to be sent to the US which is around £25 for the shipping. (5 year warranty)

but i think the Enermax has a RMA place in the UK (3 year warranty)

I've actually just read the review, and it seems that the Enermax is indeed the new quiet PSU of choice. Consider my recommendation changed to an Enermax Modu82+:)

I wouldn't really say new, before Seasonics were readily available in the UK, the Noisetaker range was the bee's knees (circa 2004)

I love my noisetaker, and will happily stick with Enermax for years to come.
