Silent Socket A Cooling sollution??

Hello and Happy Friday!

I recently put together a new linux system which has been set up as a web and file server. I am planning to leave it on 24/7 but unfortunatly the current fan (Delta AFB0612EH) sounds like hoover and would end up driving me mad.

Can anyone recomend me a decent AMD socket A heatsink and fan/cooling solution (and cooling compound if necessary) for around £30 that will keep this box silent? The system is not overclocked anymore so keeping the system ice cold is not really a priority.

Can anyone also recomend a specific product for removing the cooling compound left on on the cpu?

have a look see if u can find a zalman flower and whether it fits you're mobo.

Thanks - I'll see if I can find one and check that it will work with the abit KT7 mobo.
