Silent X360 Tutorial (non HDMI Models)

The fans let off a slight hum but I can't hear that when my speakers are turned on, and let's face it I don't game in silence.

Edit; That looks bloody horrible too, the fans would be practically leaning against my wall if I did that so that's a no no as well.

Well, officially, the RROD warranty only lasts 3 years. As i said in another thread though, i imagine it wouldn't be difficult to persuade MS to replace your console if it RRODs outside of those 3 years. Speculation though...

it may also be a launch or close to 360. the standard 1 year warranty ran out on mine a few weeks before MS even announced they were extending the warranty on the RROD error. by that point I'd allready ripped my 360 appart and fixed it my self
