Silentmax Hard drive silencer?

Right jsut read a review on putting one of these on a hard drive, ill be using mine on 2 raptors and a maxtor 300gb, however one thing that looks aparent is it iwll block off the breathing hole? Is this right or will it be alright?

Yeah it will be fine. The silentmaxx is designed to house harddrives so there are no problems. The breating hole is only there to equalize pressure wit the outside of the disk, and as the silentmaxx isn't airtight it poses no problems. If you can afford it and want the ultimate harddrive silencer, then I would go with a Smartdrive 2002c. Ive got a couple and they're better than the silentmaxxs and do a much better job of keepeng the drive cool as well.

Some people on this forum are being total jacka**es recently. No doubt your the user that soon as he hits the post limit will go and start trying to flog gear in the members market. Do yourself a favour and leave now before u get banned and feel your 10 mins of worthless posts meant so much
