Best fan for a Thermalright Ultra 120mm?

Does anyone know if overclockers stock SilenX IXTREMA 120mm for a Thermalright 120? They dont just checked!

So, what other fan do you guys recommend?

Nah, it doesn't

I am going nuts. Trying to find a suitable fan for a T-120 Ultra to cool a Q6600. I want to overclock (not massively just around 3ghz). What do you reckon?

those are probably the best ocuk list but their range isn't great.

personally I'd probably look for yate loons, I have to say though I haven't got the first clue what would fit on your heatsink as I just look for stuff that will work well on watercooling rads

I've seen that you've recommended a 1200rpm Scythe. Any reasons why not to pick the Scythe 1600rpm instead?

mostly just noise.. they're both 3 pin fans anyway so you could whack them both into a fan controller and turn them down a bit. I just thought 1600rpm for a 120mm seems a bit ott and if you run it full whack then I expect you'd hear it.

Fair enough, got a Zalman Fan Mate 2 so that should do.

Any preference between the Noctua and the Scythe?

I am ordering now
