Silicone tube insert not fitting?

I purchased the xspc bending kit and ekwb petg 10/12mm tubing but they won't fit... tried everything but the insert won't go further than a few cm.

Any ideas?

You can literally sand the tubes with sandpaper

I tried spoffle with wet and dry. Did nothing to the tubing

Just keep trying to send down the bending chord buddy, if a fine wet and dry doesn't do it, use something with a larger grit first then go over it after.

I use water based lube when using hardline as it helps the cord to slide and washes out easily without leaving any residue.

Use olive oil... Works brilliantly - trust me you want it as tight as possible anyway

I've tried Wd40. Soap. Sunflower and olive oil and tried more rough sand paper and it only gets maybe an inch before completely stopping
