Apologies, I'm such a noob. I've plugged in a second monitor for the first time and I'm trying to work out how to make my wallpaper carry on across the screen (it's a 3840x1200 image) rather than just get squashed and replicated. The screens are not cloned, and are otherwise working fine...

Thanks - tried it and it still duplicated the image - d'oh!

Anyway, I've boxed the refurb. up now as I just don't have the desk space to use them both!

What windows are you running? I can't remember in XP but I'm sure it's the same as it is in Vista don't bother using a larger/smaller image than the combined desktops, resize it in a program first and chosing "center" as the wallpaper mode should work fine.

If you are having trouble getting it to work properly it may be the way that you set the wallpaper, I had trouble before because right clicking an image and selecting set wallpaper didn't work no matter what desktop setting i used. However if I went through the desktop properties and browsed to the image it worked fine.
