Sounds a silly question, but do the bay fan controllers allow you to connect cpu fans and therefore bypass fan controller header on the mobo? (I'd always assumed this would cause a boot error?)
Or do they 'chain' through to the cpu fan header like the cheap and cheerful zalman fan mate?
I've actually misplaced my ULNA adaptors for my Noctua DH14 and am looking at ways of reducing the rpm on the two monster fans but then thought a drive bay controller would be prettier
