as you can see had to leave out the antec khuler because the backplate is stuck solid to the back of the old motherboard does anyone know how i can get it off without breaking the the backplate or mobo in a bit of a quandry here as i am giving the board and cpu to a friend thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly that backplate uses sticky tape stuff to help fix it to the motherboard. If that's the case you'll need to get it warmed up to stand any chance of removing it.

Should be ok as long as you don't rush it. Get it moving by twisting side to side laterally rather than try and take it straight off.

Cheers mate will give the isopropyl a shot i have some double sided tape in doors so happy daze thanks man.
