Silly PS3

Bit out of left field eh? The PS3 is a totally different type of machine compared to a PC.

GT5 has been created to get the most out of the current PS hardware and CPU cores etc... PS3 isn't silly, just the creator of GT5 wanted to do more but was limited with the hardware platform its based on so had to settle for what he's managed... Nothing wrong here, I'm sure the PC is more powerful but at what cost?

Seems a bit of an odd statement to make IMO.

This news just makes me even more proud for owning the Gaming PC

PC rulez =]

Great post.

Personally I prefer PC Gaming, but that means I generally stay in the PC Gaming forums and browse this one occasionally for retro console discussion and information on what console players think of multiplatform games. (Also, the Wii games posts interest me as I have one, that I rarely use :p).

the specs of the PS3 (and Xbox 360) are very low. As a PC and PS3 gamer, there's often PS3 games I am shocked at how good they look for the specs. The difference here is that on the a console, they will work and work and work at making a game run well whereas on the PC they will just bang it out as is, leaving you to subsidise their lack of optimisation by upgrading hardware.

To be fair i dont think the worlds most poweful supercomputer could satisfy that mans vision.

Oh and lolololol dandruff123

Edit - And i love it when console gaming is questioned, the fanboys stand united to defend against the onslaught of PC gamers :D

Developers are always moaning about hardware, there will always be hardware limits.
They moan about 9gb of DVD space, now they have BluRay and they moan about 50gb etc.

If they really felt strong about this they should have stopped the contract with Sony and started developing on the PC
