Silly question about 1080p

Alright so I have my ps3 connected to my new Hyundai W241D-PVA 24" (HDMI connection, HDCP enabled) and I'm playing Casino Royale (Blu-ray).

How can I tell if the movie is running at 1080p? I mean it looks stunning, but how can I actually tell that its running at that quality?

Same goes with ps3 games, how can I tell when they're playing at 720p or 1080p?

Check the PS3 output resolution is 1080p (1920*1080) and then check you have a small border (60 pixels) top and bottom on a 16:9 film or game. The monitor should have an info page in the OSD that tells you what mode it's running too.

If you press the menu button on the hyundai it tells you at the bottom what resolution the monitor is currently displaying.
