Silly question... how the heck do you manage vSphere 6.7 now?

Just grabbed the free version for an internal lab environment.

The host's web UI is just as basic as it ever was and completely useless.

The thick client no longer works an vCenter seems to be a paid-for product with no free variant.

Am I missing something? Seems the "free" version is useless now?

OK... found extra storage management features in the host-based UI... still seems like a massive step back from the thick client :/

Thanks guys, I was being a bit dumb and in a hurry... found the main bits I need... still seems rather limited compared to using the fat client tho :/

Still does the virtualisation side of things well and still noticeably quicker than Hyper-V... but no, don't like the host-only management option.

The full interface for vCenter Server looks much better, although I've yet to get hands-on with it.

When my new server arrives, I'll have a play with the trial of the new vCenter and see what I think... if it's worth it, might as well grab the essentials license.
