silly question, how to put a folder of images onto a dvd

trying to put a folder full of other folders and images onto a dvd but it isn't letting me. I must be really silly or something as im looking and finding now way of getting it there.

Im using imgburn.

If what you are burning is an "image" file, like an .ISO then use IMGBurn, but if it is just a load of folders with jpegs etc on your HDD, ie "data", you need to use another burning utility, and simply burn it as a "Data" DVD.

got any reccomendations for burning data dvd? or failing that, if its better to make the folder into an .iso then a software to turn the folders into one?

I wouldn't bother making the folder into an .ISO, just burn the folder from HDD onto blank DVD as "Data."

I agree with jbloggs , absolutely pointless burning pictures/folders as an ISO file.I presume you just want to back up your pictures and allow to view on your PC directly from the DVD when you want too. You just treat the folder/pics as data . You want to use NERO for this . I only use nero for backup either to CD or DVD and it does a good job too.Hope this helps.

put imgburn into build mode to add folders. now change the output at the bottom so it writes to disk instead of an iso file. job done.
