Hi Guys

I have just noticed that my two sticks of memory are sitting on slot 3 and 4 on my motherboard instead off slot 1 and 2. Will this make any difference to the performance of my computer.

No, but are slot 3 and 4 the same colour? For dual chanel mode they need to be in the same colour slots. On some Mobos this is slots 1 and 3 and then slots 2 and 4.

Open up the pc look where the ram is if the slots have the same colour they are in dual channel mode. If not change them. dual channel mode is faster than single channel mode
