silly question

this might sound silly to you all but all my PC's have been built by other people
in the past,but my new build am going to have ago myself we all got to learn sometime
am OK building the system up motherboard,memory,graphics card and connecting the wiring etc,etc
but what am wondering is upon turning on do you place the motherboard disc first? or windows disc and then motherboard disc

You make the DVD drive the first bootable device in the BIOS and insert the windows disk first.

EDIT: and don't use the MB disc - download the latest drivers from the manufactures site.

Windows 7 or whatever operating system you intend to use goes first. The motherboard disc ggenerally just has the drivers for the onboard sound and so on.
