I'm fairly sure i know the answer to this all ready but, has there comabout a way to SLi two cards of a different nature?

i.e my 295GTX by BFG with my 8800GTX by (God knows) ?

Get the feeling a lot of no's are coming :D.

There is a way of mixing and matching different cards actually.

MSI released a P55 board not so long back with the Lucid Hydra chip built into it, this supported the use of different video cards working together.
You could even mix and match between ATi and Nvidia!

The problem is it doesn't support Nvidias 8 series, the board cost an arm and a leg and it was a steaming pile of poo that really didn't give you the increases in FPS you might expect.
