I made a bit of a silly mistake.

I've been refered to play WOW, inorder to get some XP boost and free levels and stuff. This is my first time playing, it's taken a while for someone to convince me to play it. (A girl asked me to play, That's all it took.)

Anyways, I've purchased the game from battle.net, I did so before i got the referal.

Upon getting the referal, I now have 2 copies of World of warcraft in my World of warcraft game manager on the battle.net website.

That's not really what i wanted is it lol.

All I want is... The copy i purchased to be the 1 with the referal perks. :o

is there a solution to my stupid stupid mess.

I've contacted Blizzard already. Just waiting on a response, But thought i'd ask here as you never know, could be a solution.

I didn't think it was possible to have 2 wow accounts on the same email address since that is what your login would be?

So use the email address the "girl" sent the referral to, login with that and you will have the invite a friend shizzle. ;)

Please correct me if I am wrong. :)

sounds like you bought a copy online and from the shop. I did the same thing when I bought WotLK. They did get back to me about it...a month later but by then I was multiboxing so I was using 3 copies of each anyways.

What exactly are the two accounts showing as on the battle.net site and do you get any sort of pop up on the ingame login asking you to select an account?

Just thinking along the lines that its showing your normal live server account and the ptr (test server) account which is perfectly normal.

I.E. mine lists 3 of them, one is my normal account and is labelled by its old pre b.net name then beside it is wow1 (ptr) and then the cata one...

Hey guys, Thanks for the responses. I ended up sorting it via email with battle.net.

Quite suprised as i wasnt waiting too long. It was basically 2 emails over 2 days to get it sorted.

All they have done is transfer the referal perks over to my WOW1 account which is the fullgame.

Glad it was sorted so easily. I've been gettin it in the neck for days! :p

lol nice :D wish I had known they would have done this. My mate started up a trial wow account as he had forgotten any details for the old old account he had. Then he bought the battlechest and added to that old account by mistake. Meant we lost out on the refer a friend stuff :p
