Silva V Mata V Cazorla

Cazorla and Mata are both equally brilliant, however Silva I believe is overated. Most inconsistant spanish midfielder. Plus, you know Cazorla is class when other teams pack out the midfield to limit the amount of time Santi has the ball. He makes Arsenal tick

Arsenal supporter?

Mata still shines and produces plenty of goals and assists while having an impotent lone striker in Torres ahead of him. His stats would be incredible if he had someone like Aguero or RVP ahead of him.

That's easily rectified if he wants to move North ;)

I wont go as far as saying he was a bargain but given the player he's been for us 18m for Carrick certainly wasn't us paying over the odds.

Given the way Levy now likes to screw clubs over during transfer negotiations I'm glad we got Carrick when we did, who knows maybe that was the deal that tipped Levy over the edge?

Given how integral he's been to our team I'd say it was a great bit of business. Luckily people now seem to take notice when he plays well.

Still, Gilly's sarcasm detector failed massively in this thread.
