Silver Arrow Fans location

Hi chaps,

About to put my HSF on and I'm a bit confused... am I right in saying it should be this way:

FAN [FINS]... FAN [FINS] -> Back of Case
----airflow----------->>>>>

seeing as my rear case fan expels.

Just looked at some videos on youtube and one guy appears to have his sucking air in from the back!

Edit: Also, do I need the small black square thing for the backplate on a 1155 board (Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard ) - I'm pretty sure I don't?

Yeah the order of the fans is correct.

I didn't use the small square black thing with my 1366 setup. I found the X shaped backplate would fit with it? Was worried that it may create a short but it seems fine without it.
