Silver kill coil

Now the search is for Distilled water!
Been reading that deionised is conductive.

I'd just rather go with distilled :)

Both will get conductive over time as they contact other metals - can really only be called non conductive in the bottle.

A lot of people use de-ionised water, I did for two years over multiple builds with absolutely no problems. Handy as most garages have it readily as well rather than trying to hunt for distilled

De-ionised will be fine if you have that to hand.

I used to use tap water filtered with a brita filter jug. As I had a Storm G5 waterblock made out of silver all I had to contend with was hard water deposits in the tubing after a year or so.

I have an RO filter now with a silver kill coil and have no issues/build up at all. There is no point buying distilled water imho; it's just not necessary.

I'm going to use deionised + silver kill coil while I order some distilled water online.

When I switch from deionised to distilled, whats the best way to clean out the whole loop?

Just stick with what you got unless you get Mayhems ultra pure which was im using with a silver kill coil in my res and his red dye. Res is a micro res. I pulled it so it was a bit longer and it sits flat at the bottom as my pumps inlet is from the base of the micro res. The flow keeps it there and works perfectly. My loop is all nickle too
