Round 38 - Results

Well this is awkward. Finishing the season in style is, er, Lawro with 11 points. Putting this aside, our congratulations go to Tiger Woops, our winner with 10 points! It's Ripper and BigChief who share second just a point behind. Unfortunately you all missed out on the 100 point bonus for predicting West Brom 5-5 Man Utd, bad luck there.

The Final Table

Well this is what we've been waiting for. 380 games and plenty of nearly-missed 12:45 deadlines later, here is our final table and the Silverpaw Awards to go with it.

IT'S A FIX! Good to see that £20 I sent to one of the Mods to silently give me a couple of extra scorelines has paid off. ;) I think it was some lucky early season guesswork that secured me the win.

Securing automatic Champions League qualification, Lawro and Shamikebab have achieved second and third respectively. Nossmayo must qualify but stands a good chance of reaching the group stages. Cosimo 'does a Spurs' and gets himself into the Europa League - and this by only 1 scoreline over 6th place.

In the award for correct predictions regardless of scoreline, it's congrats to both Tiger Woops and Nossmayo, joint winners with 197. Out of 380, that's not bad at all, and both are up there in the final table.

Points Per Prediction Table

Here's our final indicator of quality over quantity.

Special mentions go out here to Witor and in particular rossk26 - you both would clearly have been higher up the table had you predicted every game.

Finally, looking at last year's table, we see another good improvement all round! The score of 267 that propelled myeslf and Shamikebab to second last year would have only put us in 9th place this time round! We're getting better at this boys, we should start putting bets on!

Thanks again to everyone for playing. At least this year, with no internationals, we all get a proper break. ;) Hopefully see you in August.
