Hi Guys

We are now offering better pricing on Silverstone Cases and PSU's going forwards.

Silverstone are known to be the best of the best for cases. With the Flagship TJ11 leading the way for the most epic builds in the enthusist market.

There PSU's are known for the great stability and reliability so they also offer the enthusisats another ideal choice!

Silverstone make the best cases money can buy.

Surely 'best' is subjective?
I'm sure some people would argue that CaseLabs and Mountain Mods (and LD Cooling?) make better watercooling cases.

I'm thinking of returning my TJ11 (under the 14-day satisfaction thing) because I want a better watercooling case.

Some of their cases (excluding the Ravens :)) do look nice though.

nope. it is a well known fact that silverstone are the best. i have seen MM cases and the other brands you mention. whilst they are good out of the box, you wont find a case with better build quality these days when other manufacturers are getting slowly worse.

So 'best' is based purely on build quality and not performance or hardware options?

I partly disagree on best. In some case market segments they're not the best. But to be fair they are very good if they're not the best.

Silverstone cases I always see as lian li quality with much better functionality.

Well they are the 'best' overall quality and the range is big enough for you to choose the case to suit your performance/hardware options.

So 'best' does boil down to quality of the build/finish.

And if I wanted to do a stupid OTT watercooled build with something like 3 Triple or Quad radiators (which I do)?
What case would I get for that? I went for the TJ11, but doesn't really offer enough radiator options (unless you mod it).

I'm not saying they're not good and in many cases may have cases right at the top of their class, but for for every scenario you can think of, I'm not so sure.

I'm also very tempted by the Silverstone Strider Gold 1200w as my Corsair AX1200 only has 6 x 6/8-pin PCI-e cables.

EDIT: In fact thinking about it (oh why didn't I do this before I bought one) I'm not sure what the TJ11 is aimed at. There are watercooling cases that offer more radiator options, there are cheaper cases that offer decent/comparable watercooling options (NZXT Switch 810?) and cheaper cases that offer the air cooling performance (Fortress FT02, etc.).

For my main builds i only use Silverstone cases ;)

I currently have FT02-WRI case which is argubly the best air cooling case there is.

and neither does any case from any other mainstream manufacturer

you are highlighting a downfall of a case based on radiator capacity that 99.9% of people do not see as a necessary requirement. case manufacturers know that most people building a very high end watercooled pc don't need more room than what is on offer in a Xigmatec Elysium.

if your system requirements are that extreme then you shouldn't really be looking at mainstream cases anyway as there is nothing on the mainstream market that fits the bill.

So those siverstone PSU's look pretty darn sweet. most with Gold rating and a fantastic price point. Might have to pick one of them up as my current PSU suffers from horrific whine on white screens. Sounds like a an old 56k modem sometimes when the screen colour changes often.

Not mainstream maybe, but I believe Mountain Mods, CaseLabs and LD Cooling all make cases that will take 3 triple/quad radiators.

On a side note, why did you guys stop selling Mountain Mods cases?

Wish I'd have known that before I bought the TJ11 (it came recommended as a great watercooling case). I'd send it back, but it'll cost a small fortune to send something that big and heavy :(

Thats one heck of a line-up you guys have on the Silverstone range, then the prices, those are some of the best I've seen if not the best IMO.

That FT03 Mini looks great and you've already got it on pre-order @ £89.99, I'm suppose to be saving!
