I've left this a bit late I guess as everything seems to be sold out. However, at the bottom, it does list 'General Admission' I can still see the race I hope but I guess I'll be standing somewhere? Is it still worth going for this?
But in answer to your question, probably not any more. GA at Silverstone used to be fantastic with lots of really good spots and banks. The trouble is they have now built grandstands on most of the best areas (Club used to be brilliant for GA), so you are restricted to where you can see. I think its pretty much limited now to the Hangar straight, the run between Vale and Club, and the entrance to Maggotts.
There are some good spots, the problem is that if you do you'll have to get up really early to get a good seat. I always go grandstand to prevent disappointment. Luffield has a good general admission seating on some concrete steps.

There's this too. I've been at the gates at 6am before trying to get a good spot. Sitting on a bank in the cold for 3 hours before anything happens is no fun.
