Im thinking of getting this case as m sick of my big dusty TT armour and have a few questions.

1. Is it roomey enough to effectivly cool an i7 920 @ 4ghz, GTX280, 6 sticks of DDR3 and 4 HDD's?

2. Is it painted black inside? (seen some in reviews painted but some dont seem to be)

3. I seen on reviews the dust filters are very hard to get out and wondering how you go about doing this for the PSU + Top intake?

4. How quiet is the stock cooling on this case and are the fans any good? Also how easy is it to replace 180mm fans?

1. Yes, you can put 6 hdd i think
2. yes FT01B-W
3. Top need to take a few things off and bottom need to take PSU out i think. Just run hoover once a week and should b ok :D
4. Fans are alright, not as noisy as Thermaltake i assume and still haven't found 180mm fans replacement

1 - No problem at all. It will take 7HDD's. If you are using 4 I would personally recommend 3 at the bottom and 1 in one of the 5.25 bays. That would allow you to remove the upper HHD bays and allow the front intake to feed air towards the GFX

2 - Yes, as above the windowed version has the black insides.

3 - Top dust filter is a silly design, but looks like it can be vacuumed from above. PSU filter could be cleaned by simply tilting the case and vacuuming.

4 - Stock fans are pretty quiet to be fair, but I reduced the 180's to 600RPM for my sensitive ears (from stock 850RPM or so I think). They are removed by 2 screws each IIRC

Officially there's seven HDD bays but because of very dense spacing inside airflow restricting cage four is cooling safe number without need to force air through with higher pressure fan.

thanks for the help.

another question though, how are fans conected? 4pin molex or 3pin motherboard conectors?

Are the fans loud enough to warrent a fan controller?

3pin, and it depends on your own sensitivity to noise. Personally, for someone who thinks a Noctua NF-P12 at full tilt is a little (only a tiny bit mind you) loud, I would say yes they are better on a controller.

What I would say is that if you can get a controller, you should as it will give you much better control over the cooling/noise ratio.
