Hi, i have a silverstone FT02 case and the front audio panel connector has stopped working.
when putting a headphone jack in it doesnt work but if i apply pressure and push the audio jack down it works but then when leaving it go it pops up slightly and stops again.
i thought at first i might have damaged it by using to much force to pull it out but i tried the second audio connection which has never been used and its exactley the same.

not sure what the problem is as i have only had the case for 2 months.
can it be fixed or replaced?

Apologies for the thread rez but I have exactly the same problem, tried 2 headsets, both 'pop' out of the headphone connection but work fine in the microphone connection. Very frustrating to spend money on a high end case like this and find a problem that I wouldn't expect on ANY case, no matter how cheap/expensive.

Anybody have a working one? If so I might try and find out if the part is available as a spare but no point in doing so unless I know it will fix it - and if not I can send it back for a refund/replacement.

If I recall they 'pop' out due to not being recognised.

I had similar issue when I first had my ft02.
I think I had to set up some software to recognise the jack in the OS.

Possibly - although the software already pops up asking me if it's a headphone that I have just plugged in and on odd occasions it has stayed in and working for 5 minutes or more - but then I move slightly and it pops out. Like the OP, if I hold it in place it works fine but that's not a lot of good when gaming! I emailed Silverstone about it and they had the decency to reply although asking for €29.16 (Most of which is postage and taxes) to replace a faulty part on a case less than a year old is a bit naughty. For the moment I've switched back to my old USB headset but my next build will be back in an Antec - used them for years without problems and it was such a tough call between the P280 and FT02B this time. In the end the FT02B won because I was fascinated by the rotated MB design and in fairness, other than this fault it is a good case, I still love the design, it's great for warming my sandwiches up (Wrapped in silver foil of course, don't want those nasty crumbs dropping into the innards of the machine!)

Fair play to Silverstone, I emailed them back yesterday thanking them for their time but saying I would prefer to buy from a UK e-tailer to save postage charges and they gave me the URL for the part on a rival resellers site. It's available here too - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-208-SV although the price is a little higher) so maybe I'll try one more, hopefully the fitting is relatively easy.

It's apparently an upgrade part for those with the earlier cases which had USB2 front ports.
